Edward Bibring was an Austraian and American psychoanalyst. He was a member (from 1925) of the Vienna Psychoanalytic Society) and closely associated with Sigmund Freud. In 1941 he emigrated to Americal.
Bibring's early writings included studies of the instincts and of the repetition compulsion.
